Australia & New Zealand Cruise

A group of us enjoyed our adventure on our cruise of Australia and New Zealand on the Holland America Noordam. Some of us went early to Sydney and spent several days there, exploring the area as well as walking the city! The ship was wonderful! Great food, lots of activities to participate in, smooth sailing throughout. Only one disappointment… we couldn’t stop at Hobart, Tasmania, as planned due to high seas and storms. Too bad, but we had to trust in the captain to make the right call for all of us on his ship.

Got to see animals like the kangaroo with her joey hanging from her pouch; got to feed the emu and kangaroos; saw the platypus in his murky pool (he’s about as long as my forearm; small compared to what I had envisioned!); and lots of other animals in the zoo in Sydney.

Great trip with great people on a terrific ship!
